This week, our In Focus section reviews the Washington RFP to rebid roughly 740,000 lives under the state’s Healthy Options Program and Basic Health Plan. Additionally, the RFP expands managed care coverage to non-dual eligible Medicaid individuals who are aged, blind, or disabled (ABD). Healthy Options provides fully-capitated managed care services to Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) clients.
