This week, our In Focus section reviews highlights and shares key takeaways from the new Kaiser Commission on Medicaid and the Uninsured (KCMU) report, Medicaid Reforms to Expand Coverage, Control Costs and Improve Care: Results from a 50-State Medicaid Budget Survey for State Fiscal Years 2015 and 2016, released on October 15, 2015. The report, published annually, was prepared by Vernon K. Smith, Ph.D., Kathleen Gifford, and Eileen Ellis from HMA and by Robin Rudowitz, Laura Snyder, and Elizabeth Hinton from KCMU.
